As an accomplished and experienced senior leader with over 18 years in the Canadian Forces, Mariangeles has been on many reconstruction missions in the post conflict regions of Afghanistan and Sudan.

During her time in the military, Mariangeles specialized in civilian-military co-operation, project management and instruction of diverse populations, both locally and internationally. Her passion for teaching has also developed through her life experiences, and she hopes to share the valuable lessons learned with the participants of the Monticle program.
