As an experienced Combat Medic with the Canadian Forces and a professional artist, Barry is a passionate and creative instructor. With his skills in special effects makeup, he began doing casualty simulation for 25 Field Ambulance, providing realistic effects for medical emergency and first-aid training. Barry has over 13 years of practical knowledge in the medical field making him well qualified to teach important topics such as staying calm, thinking and planning, and being prepared when facing any emergency.

Barry has a broad education including completing a Bachelor's Degree in Photography at Ryerson University, additional studies at the University of Toronto and completing a program in motion picture production at the University of California, Los Angeles. He believes that combining one's interests with their career strengthen's the drive and motivation for success in life. During his free time, Barry enjoys travelling and capturing special moments through photography.
