For over 8 years as a medical technician and instructor in the Canadian Forces, Thien is well versed in leadership, coaching, and training. His vast knowledge in the medical field comes from his studies in University and his military career. Thien's experience in providing critical care and emergency medical assistance make him an invaluable member to the Monticle team. With a deep understanding of working under pressure in challenging environments, his hardworking, and energetic work ethics are a great influence on the youth.

Thien has natural abilities in leading and motivating, making him one of Monticle's favourite instructors amongst the youth. Through his life experiences in work and volunteering, he inspires individuals to go beyond and make a difference in the world.

As a fitness and health advocate, Thien enjoys keeping fit through physical activities and outdoor adventures. Thien also contributes his free time volunteering and helping throughout the community.
