In 1979, Tom Truong and his family fled to Canada as refugees from the war torn country of Vietnam. Although he has dealt with many challenges in his life, Tom believes that these adversities have made him a wiser and stronger person.

Hard work and determination earned Tom a background in both Architectural Technology and Project Management from Humber and Centennial College, respectively.

His passions include Shaolin Martial Arts, stage performing, discussing philosophy and volunteering at his local temple.
