CPR/AED Course

Monticle is offering a comprehensive CPR and AED training course based on the Canadian Guidelines for CPR, defibrillation and other aspects of emergency cardiovascular care. Whether it is part of your job responsibility or a regulatory requirement, knowing how to properly administer CPR and AED can help save a life!
Monticle’s Have a Heart CPR/AED course is taught by qualified professionals from the Canadian Forces, the EMS, and members of St. John Ambulance. The course includes the following components and upon completion of the Written and Practical Examination, participants will be issued certifications in CPR and AED from the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
CPR (level C) and AED
- Up to date content and materials from 2010 Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiac Care
- CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and choking relief in adults, infant,
and child.
- AED (Automated External Defibrillator) for adults and children
- Recognizing and treating emergencies such as cardiac arrest, heart attack
and stroke
- Other topics include a preview on basic first-aid, emergency scenario simulations, and more!
